Larimar, also known as Atlantis Stone, is a rare gemstone that can only be found in relatively inaccessible mountainous mines above the Caribbean Sea. It beautifully reflects different blue colours of warm Caribbean Sea. The name Larimar was given by Miguel Mendez, who combined his daughter's first name LARIssa with MAR which is a Spanish word for sea.
